i only ask coz the picture of the bonnet you showed has a L for left and looks like its on the passenger side which to me is right when looking at the car....

so they could be stickered up wrong maybe....

i thought about it for a while when putting them on, and decided the instructions meant left as looking from drivers seat, maybe they are labelled up wrong.

I tried to follow the instructions but hit the same snag as well. I tried to be creative and did this...

have you turned the bracket upside down?

or maybe i had it wrong in the first place!

I think you are right, however, the bracket is too long and does not allow much clearance for the strutt. You cannot move it nearer to the body as well since;
1. the bracket is already touching the wing
2. the wiring loom is in the way

So, I turned it upside down with the attachment upwards. drilled another hole to move it outwards and placed it between the wing and the body unless you want to cut the bracket

Are the strut fixing points removable from the brackets? or are the balls welded to them? :confused:
