Supercharger to Turbo Swap
all i got was the injectors are too big cant pull them back enough, emanage is **** not good enough and that an is200 should not have a turbo on it!! and as far as your man driving it i can prove nothing was not there!
they said they would redo it on standard injectors but to be honest i dont know do i want to give it back to them!
most people say emanage is **** not fine enough tuning and also that the 550 injectors are too big and hard to pull back enough and still have problems on idle even when done right. . and also the dredded emmissons problems!
so stuck on it. . its sitting there at mo

long drawn out story im afraid but sum it up for ya. did car myself got messed around on wiring and finally got lad do it right!! then he brought it to lad he thought was good to get it mapped and on way down that happened. .

got the car looked at in another mappers over here, friend of a friend! the fuel and ignition is perfect when on boost but when idling not running good.
so it was not down to the mappers that the engine gave up must of just been a freak thing!! cause we even checked it on rolling road and the road with a list of sensors ha and its fine besides idling.
basically this cant be fixed as the emanage if ****ed and wiring was changed to make the emanage work!! so have finally decided to rip out the emanage and wiring sick of it. . nd not worth trying to fix it.
going to change ecu thinking of a haltech ecu do it right the second time round! so if go for more power later this will be also up to the job!

Ellz did have another emanage for sale if you wanna just keep that?
If not i'd suggest a link ECU, the new Atom unit look immense

If not i'd suggest a link ECU, the new Atom unit look immense

stav: not going to go down that road tried another emanage in it already and would not work, the wiring must of been modded by the last lads to make the emanage work. so would mean buy and emanage and fix the wiring and get it mapped again. so going to change it up altogether and do it right hopefully lol.

dimis: not speaking for them all but no matter who i talk to even the english mappers none of them recomend the emanage. its unreliable always has issues, you cant live map the car either so dearer to map and more annoying to put small changes on it!! and you cannot fine tune an emanage (fueling wise) near as mush as any of the other ecus HKS, haltech, link, no off them!

sorry didnt mean to be running them down cause they are a lot cheaper than the others. . but i have had a bad run in with it. and on my quest to get it right i have talked to alot of people who have had serious problems with their emanage aswell!!
