TTE Chicane wheels
TTE Chicane wheels
Just dropped off at WIM the TTE Chicane wheels that I bought, for a refurb and four new tyres. Will be interesting to see how they get on with the dent in one of the wheel rims, hopefully they can sort it out.
Can't wait to get them back and onto the car !
Is the dent on the inside or the outside? If on the inside, then I'm sure they'll get it out, when I got mine back I honestly couldn't tell which ones were the repaired ones and neither could the guys at WIM!
What tyres you fitting Steve? Got some Falken 452s off WIM for my new GT1s last weekend. Not bad price either Nowhere near as slippy (apparently mould release makes them slippy for the 1st couple 100 miles) as some peeps make out either.
Steve I'm sure they will look the Mutz Nutz once they come back!
Make sure you get some good clear close up pics of the wheel and nuts/locking nuts......I might have to follow suit as mine now look pretty nasty now the nuts have tarnished. How much were the McGard black lock nuts mate?

parthiban Is the dent on the inside or the outside? It's on the outside. This isn't a good angle on it, and it's slightly worse than it looks in this pic, but it's at the top (and slightly to right) :
edeath What tyres you fitting Steve?Toyo Proxes T-1Rs.
Cous3 Steve I'm sure they will look the Mutz Nutz once they come back!Yep, I'll take some pics when they're finished and on the car for sure. I paid £39.95 plus shipping for some black McGard locking wheel nuts.

That does look a bit nasty to repair, interested to see how that will come out but I'm sure they'll do a good job
Woo-hoo ! The wheels are done, WIM need to pick them up now and put the new tyres on. I will try to get up to WIM in the next couple of days to pick them up !
Nice one, look forward to the pics
