Evening everyone.

I have a complaint to make to who ever sends these emails and which ever country you are in. Listen very carefully. YOU NEED TO TRY A WHOLE LOT HARDER.

Here is the following email I was sent today.

We have recheck your tax and noticed that you made a mistake about the amount paid.
You have to take back the sum of 392 pounds. To suppress this amount, please download
and complete the form.
We apologize for the error we made. If you do not complete all fields on the form correctly
you will not suppress the amount specified.

Sincerely and respectfully, HM Revenue & Customs Team.

I was never aware that the Inland Revenue had a "team".

Could do better.

Jim.

I tend to email back completely made up details just to waste their time (but that's only the ones that get through my mail filters) - I get probably 10 to 20 of this kind of mail a day...

 not changed my email address in near a decade, maybe I should, but I can't be bothered...
