My Turn
My Turn
omg, yours looks worse than mine Mikey, i'm lucky I was only goin slow, i've managed to get my bonnet up and looks like i'm very lucky, the light brackets have all survived, theres a crack on one of my airboxes, where theres a little bracket, so thats fine, the bar that the bonnet catch is at the front of was only very slightly bent in, literally just a couple of mm so i've pulled that back out and its fine,
the bonnet catch isn't working at all, I don't know if the cable has been over stretched or something cos after I got it open, now its shut again it still won't open from the catch, the grille escaped with the middle tab missing and paint flaked on one corner, other than that its fine too, i'm thinking i'm gonna have a mate or 2 force the bonnet straight(ish) but i'm gonna have to put up with a scruffy front for a while
Hard luck guys, sad to see these ISs in this state..........
Surprised Rory that you had so much damage in such a low speed impact. Even more amazed that the headlight brackets are still intact - was it a much larger vehicle? That would explain why the damage is higher up on the car. When I got rear ended and shoved into the car in front the front part was probably about 10mph - and other than snapped headlight brackets I had no damage at the front end.
OMG 2 in two days
hope their all fixed without to many issues.
Fry-Up I hit a 206, so I think its cos he was braking too the weight was off his back so I was heading lower down, could have been much worse if i'd hit a bigger car or even hit it slightly off centre
