Alternatively I have always thought Hollingworth Lake near Milnrow would be a nice place to have a meet in the summer especially with some Fish & Chips! :lol: Nice roads nearby too. :thumbup:

Gord organised one back in 2005 (Wow was it really 5 years ago!!) at Ashton Moss Retail Park in Ashton. They have bowling, a big car park and offer various food places.

ad: anyway my thoughts were basically for anyone who want's to come along from wherever just to meet up for a few hours somewhere accessable/easy to get to just to catch up, I like the idea of Blackpool and bowling and all that but with JAE just around the corner that may be too much at the mo, Dean and I and anyone who want's to help will get to work on sorting a proper meet in the NW for next year one we can make a day or even weekend of but for now I think it best to just do something simple, any ideas let me know, I'm tied up dor the next 2 weeks anyway so it'll have to be end of the month:biggrin:

Looks like this has died while i've been awayad: anyway my thoughts were basically for anyone who want's to come along from wherever just to meet up for a few hours somewhere accessable/easy to get to just to catch up, I like the idea of Blackpool and bowling and all that but with JAE just around the corner that may be too much at the mo, Dean and I and anyone who want's to help will get to work on sorting a proper meet in the NW for next year one we can make a day or even weekend of but for now I think it best to just do something simple, any ideas let me know, I'm tied up dor the next 2 weeks anyway so it'll have to be end of the month:biggrin:

y not say end oct and say blackpool its a lil bit away but gives every1 lots of time to get some petrol money put away and food money we could do pablo's chipy mmm so good and then a ojc convoi though the lights. think of the pics along the front and a the lights ?? what you all think
