Why he stripping it
BHP, TORQUE, UNDER STEER, OVERSTEER FOR DUMMYS
BHP- how fast you hit the wall, TORQUE- how far you push the wall
OVER STEER- Dont see the wall, UNDER STEER- You do see it

Why he stripping it
I can only assume its because he will get more for the parts then the car. Most charged IS200's strip the charger off before selling.
