Pictures: A trip to the zoo
Some fantastic pictures Patrik, I LOVE the zoo
Incredible pictures as always, I wish I could get those sorts of results, the contrast is just perfect! Are those raw images or touched up at all?
Spot on as usual mate. love the tiger.
very very nice pics.
I need to get practicing. Off to kenya on safari at the end of november and getting a new camera for my birthday (nikon d3000)
Which zoo was this??
garyskisplym very nice pics thereThanks! I used my Nikon D80 for those pics.
what camera do you use??
abactus great picsIt's hard to find a goat that looks more satisfied, I believe
LOL I love the goat
Lexusboy In all the hundred of pictures I have taken with my camara i never once had a picture to your quality.Hundreds of pictures might not be enough, mate :tongue_smilie: I bought my D80 in January 2009 and since then I've taken 12,006 pictures with it. I doubt there's any photographer that can go out and take just one picture that turns out perfect. If you take 20 pictures of the same object at least one has to be good
Wish i had half your talent mate.
parthiban Incredible pictures as always, I wish I could get those sorts of results, the contrast is just perfect! Are those raw images or touched up at all?Thank you. Apart from some cropping they are pretty much straight from the camera.
garyskisplym very very nice pics.I'd love to go to Kenya and see these animals in their natural environment.

Lexusboy I need to buy the sb600 or sb800 speed light for my camera. The SB-400 is really basic and I wouldn't really recommend it. Its only advantage over the built in flash is that you can aim it up which is vital if you want to take nice indoor pics.
Could the sb400 work well enough as i see you use this ?
My camera is the d70

We cover the flash with micropore tape, when photographing tattoos, as they are wet and reflect the flash so hard the camera does not see the ink only the flash reflection!!
If I had a camera that would support a 3rd party flash then all the tattoo books say to aim at the celling.
