It's hard to find a goat that looks more satisfied, I believe

Its expression really reminds me of The lonely goatherd song from The sound of music:

Hundreds of pictures might not be enough, mate :tongue_smilie: I bought my D80 in January 2009 and since then I've taken 12,006 pictures with it. I doubt there's any photographer that can go out and take just one picture that turns out perfect. If you take 20 pictures of the same object at least one has to be good

Thank you. Apart from some cropping they are pretty much straight from the camera.

I'd love to go to Kenya and see these animals in their natural environment.

My pictures are from Kolmården in Norrköping, Sweden.

The SB-400 is really basic and I wouldn't really recommend it. Its only advantage over the built in flash is that you can aim it up which is vital if you want to take nice indoor pics.

Here's a very quick comparison. Not the best example, but you should get the idea.

Flash aimed towards the object
[Image: dsc2027g.jpg]

Flash aimed towards the ceiling
[Image: dsc2026q.jpg]

The SB-600 can be aimed in any direction but it can also be used as a slave flash and that option opens up a whole new world of photography. I was going to buy an SB-600, but I've now been recommended to get the Sigma EF-530 DG Super. That seems to be a great choice if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

We cover the flash with micropore tape, when photographing tattoos, as they are wet and reflect the flash so hard the camera does not see the ink only the flash reflection!!

If I had a camera that would support a 3rd party flash then all the tattoo books say to aim at the celling.
