Ok the misses has made me buy her a set of day time running leds for her Toyota Celica, but as she hardily goes out at night in the car she wants them to come on with the ignition!

So my question is where do i find a live feed under the bonnet to run the lights from that come on with when the engine is started, so i don't have to run a switch inside the car to turn them on/off?

Gonna feed mine into the side lights so that's straight forward, I've also got inline fuse holders with 500ma quick blow fuses to keep everything nice and safe.:thumbup1::thumbup1:

One for Stave me thinks......

You could use the ignition feed in the ecu or if you wanted to be realy flash you could use a light dependant resistor ....

Your best bet as Rabster says is using a switched live in the ECU,

use the owners manual online to identify one.

No point using an LDR if she wants them on in the day
