Not all the time admittedly, my brothers beast has covered 20k miles at 2.1bar on the 3071 and no problems but many have suffered block wall cracks and i dont want to be
one of the unlucky ones so id rather sell my spare block and bang a 5s with the 3s head.
But yeah, i will be aiming for high 500's to maybe mid 600bhp if i can afford to go for the 5s way.
indeed, was hoping to go the 5s bottom end to cure the problemms that sometimes occur with 500-600bhp 3s blocks.

Yeah robs car uses roy ashleys old engine as far as i am aware which is a 2.2..... but its a 2.2 3sgte using HKS crank and that which means it will be HKS pistons at 87mm which is far too big to risk any reliabillity in a 3s block, wouldnt ever want more than a 86.5mm bore.
the camry is 2.2 out of the blocks so put you in good stead for more reliable power, needs modding to fit the 3s head though
