well you said you like pics....lol.

heres my old mx5:

it had custom blended in wide arches and body kit(that was like it when i bought it) the rest i did myself.

mate borrowed the car and crashed it :S so he bought me a new bumper i choose this one as couldnt find the same one again.

real shame to see a car with that much work get destroyed. How much did it set you back to turbo it, just out of interest? Was it the 1.8 to begin with?

Also, I've heard a few people say the extra power ruins the car for road use. Any comment on that?

yeah was really gutted Sad
ermmm prob about 2k in the end but didnt add it up, spent around 8k on the car and alot off time.

it was a 1.6 theres not much difference because off the weight difference.
i love to feel a car, and hear it (not mega loud) so imo it made it more fun to know i had the power if needed. it was my every day driver (apart from work van) and i found it nice to drive. but i also like stiff suspension etc lol.

the clutch wasnt unusable in traffic etc so the extra power didnt effect it atall imo. sorry i blabbed on a bit there lol.

lot of difference between the 1.8 and the 1.6 under the body work though!

2k is pretty cheap, nice!

yeah i suppose. i bought the turbo kit 2nd hand and the internals etc didnt need upgrading. just the basics, emanage blue, etc exhaust system i had anyway just had to get it customised a bit.

It is mate and so much fun, it was 204bhp Big Grin
I was getting it ready to Track it and drift it but it caught fire when nearly ready and I was stupid and didn't have a fire extinguisher :/

the oil feed to the turbo hose gave way at the connection and sprayed oil all over the engine bay Sad
