Hi all, I originate from Sunny South Africa, but now live and work in Dublin, Ireland, I recently baught my first Irish car, a great old bird, a 2000 lexus IS200, she has a fair bit of millage on her and looks to have been loved as she is in reasonable condition for her age she is kitted out in the "sport" package and is the very sexy black colour, my future plans consist of a supercharger kit making use of the oem parts bin, i've managed to source myself a professionally reconditioned Toyota SC12 supercharger with custom pully, I plan to refurbish the oem rims only changing the colour to a "gun-metal" grey or a close to black without actually being black,many way, i'm looking at finishing off the cosmetic facelifts with a full SQ sound install possibly using products from the Hertz stable, will still look into that, any way that a little about me, i hope to learn as much as possible from you all and hopefully add to the knowledge bin from my almost 10 years being involved in the speed and sound industry, i look forward to chatting to you all... Pictures of the old bird will be posted soon, the weather has been rubbish here where i stay, so haven't been able get any decent pictures, any way, collecting it tomorrow from the mechie, got a check engine light with flashing trc off, which turned out to be something to do with the vvt-i any way after closer inspection found a slight oil leak inthe vvt-i solenoid, which turns out to be a common ailment, any way mechie said no problem leave the car with me i'll sort it, my next to-do is to find the necessary parts to go with the supercharger, any advice or a shopping list would be greatly appreciated.
