Fuse box under the bonnet, take out the 20/25amp EFI and 15amp ECTS fuses for 30 seconds to a minute, there's a diagram on the inside of the cover showing which one's they are, replace and job done, just make sure your Ignitions off when you do it
40mm Lowering Springs, Re-sprayed Front, 6000K HID's, Re-furbed alloys, Bandit Induction Kit (cheers Chris), Raised boot spoiler with LED, Blue calipers with silver decals, De-badged rear, Chrome Oil Filler Cap (thanks to Chris again), White LED dash bulbs, Blue a/c control bulbs, Blue door markers and interior lights, Sony head unit, Chrome Lexus tax disc holder, TRD side skirts, Original Saloon Front Bumper re-fitted instead of Sportcross

A question that's asked quite often so here's how to do it.
Fuse box under the bonnet, take out the 20/25amp EFI and 15amp ECTS fuses for 30 seconds to a minute, there's a diagram on the inside of the cover showing which one's they are, replace and job done, just make sure your Ignitions off when you do it

As to why to reset your ECU ? Well you can do it to clear fault codes (indicated by the engine management light coming on) - but don't do this unless you already have the code or your definitely sure you want to do it, because you'll lose the diagnostic info from the fault ?
Other reasons to reset the ECU on the IS200 are after things like installing a different type of air filter/induction kit, or installing a different sort of spark plug. This will probably help speed up the re-learning process of the ECU as it learns the amount of air coming into the engine etc. It would re-learn anyway without the reset, but doing the reset of course means it is learning from scratch so is likely to do so more quickly.
You can alternatively disconnect the battery for 30 seconds, but then you'll lose settings on your stereo, reset the clock etc, so it's typically best to do the fuse method posted, which is easier and quicker !

Make sure the ignition is turned off Keys outside the vehicle i sugest leaving a door open to
Open bonnet
Remove the fuse box cover Located in front of battery
Locate EFI fuse 20Amp/25Amp
Locate ETCS fuse 15Amp
Leave a few minutes
Put the fuses back in
you can do a reset by disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery as well although this will wipe any radio settings you have stored and possibly any codes on after market radios.
Doing any of the above is done at your own risk
well as i was doing some work on the car thought i would post this up
