Hello to everyone, I am new to this, sorry if is this is in the wrong section, I have installed a new aftermarket head unit in my IS 200 SE, I have used the amp bypass leads, the problem I have is that the bass is very low, however if I install a different unit , the bass works fine. The new until is an eonon with DVD and all other extras, any help with this would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Common issue with some of these "unbranded" units they just don't have the same quality as OEM units. It could be a faulty unit or just the way that one is built.

If the other unit you use is the same brand as the "eonon" then clearly the 1st one is faulty.

If one unit has good bass and another does not then i'd but it down to that unit being of not good quality or faulty!

sorry for the late responce i have been working, and not had time to check the website, thank you to both of you for your replies, it was down to the wiring in the ISO plug that came with the stereo, for some unknown reason the positive and negative's had been swapped around after swapping them to match the by-pass cable the stereo is working perfectly.
