Im removing this engine due to a turbo conversion, despite I only fitted it 12 months ago. I bought the engine from imoc. Original sale thread here

http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.p...t=#1261888

The engine came with the cambelt removed, and the waterpump missing. I replaced the waterpump with a unit from camskill, the thermostat and housing was also replaced, a new cambelt was also fitted. The engine was then given a service using genuine items from mr t, including proper rev 3 plugs (£9 each!), and new dizzy cap and rotor arm, new engine temp sensor.

When fitted I first filled it with crappy oil, ran it for a couple of hours, then drained and refilled with magnatex and a new filter to make sure there was no rubbish in the engine. While it was out I cleaned and painted the rocker cover, inlet manifold and heat shield. The gearbox was also cleaned and repainted.

I also replaced the lambda sensor in the downpipe, and replaced the coil pack and igniter, as it was split. While it was apart a new clutch was also fitted.

Since fitting I don't think I have run more than about 5-6000 miles, so being generous I'd say it's done 60,000 miles in its life. The engine starts first time every time, and pulls really well, it's such a shame to remove it really, but more power is a must.

This will come with most parts of the rear clip, engine gearbox, downpipe, no back box, ecu, loom, driveshafts, hubs etc. The hubs are from a uk abs car, so come complete with sensors.

The engine is currently still in the car if anyone wanted to see it running or drive it. It will be removed hopefully in the next few weeks

£300 collected

Does not include the BMC filter or TRD leads. It will come with a set of standard leads, but no filter, as I don't have a spare

This engine pulls HARD - so it's definately all hot to trot.

Good luck with sale Pete.
