Milton Keynes Museum Transport Day
Milton Keynes Museum Transport Day
I took the Sunny along to this as something to do on a Sunday. It qualified for Class C in the concours presentation which was 1950-1992. I dragged a friend along with a MK1 MR2 as well, but I'll be honest they were out of place and outclassed! It was mostly old British stuff...
This old Renault was very odd, it was front engined and front wheel drive, but the engine was inline with the gearbox IN FRONT of it...
These next 2 photos are of a MK3 Capri:
Impressive!!
42.5 litre, 1900HP...
This was beautiful... do you think the owner may have been Scottish?
You can't read the plaque on this one, but it says that the guy bought it for £5 in the 70s as a plaything at the request of his 10yr old son...
I saw a brand new one of these Morgan 3-wheelers in Le Mans this year, good to see an old one too!
Sir Clive's finest:
Ahem...
They also have some Ford and Aston bits from when Ford emptied out the Tickford plant:
This is nigh on identical to the Fiesta engine!
More memorabilia in the museum:
A very early car...
This turned up late in the day and was in amazing condition:
That Capri is in awesome nick, any more pictures of it?
For once Dave is right, where be the rest of the Capri ??

Koss is there anything you couldn't pimp (besides a supra ofcourse as Sam would have long killed you before you got close to one) ?

I think we should change his name to El Chavdido
