decided to post up some of the mods im doing at the moment to the Ls4

well. after many hours of looking to find an exhaust for my Ls4 and having no luck we decided to make one..
rear section was the 1st bit we did with 2.5" stainless with 2 custom resonators and 2 jap back boxes joined just in front of the diff.
sounded nice but was still too quiet so we decided to remove the large front box and replace it with a piece of straight through stainless pipe and decided whilst it was all off to remove the cats and make some decats for it..
so it is now a custom 2.5" straight through with just 2 jap silencers on the backSmile
damm thing howls now.lol..

also made an induction kit from parts left over from the gto build as could'nt find one for the Ls4 also.icludes some 3" blue silicone jioners and a 90% bend,3" alloy 45% pipe, hks filter..

located a damaged body kit which ive repaired extensivly and is in the process of continuously being modified..fitted the cold air feed aswell..
all repair work done and in primer, next to remove the indicators and flush the holes and convert the side lights to indicators and re design the sidelights into the head light units.

the grill was next.removed all the stock plastic yuk stuff from the middle and fitted some mesh.

it came with some 19's but htey were in need of a refurb so they got done..took a day to do each wheel and are in matt black till i can decide what colour to paint them in the future..its difficult as its an everyday car so i need to work around thatSmile there "TE" 19 x 10 all roundSmile 235/30/19 front and 245/30/19 rear
[Image: 004-90.jpg]

did some carbon wrapping inside aswell and came out ok for a 1st attempt
[Image: 002-103.jpg]

started on the bonnet now and decided to make the vent from metal instead of the fibreglass option for longevity reasons( fibreglass cracks over time)
took some thinking tho but has come out ok..just needs a final skim and re-paint then fit some mesh..will tidy up the underneath when the tops finishedSmile

not had a phone for a while as i dropped it n smashed the screen (iphone 4s screens NOT cheapSmile
got it fixed today so i can upload some picks of what ive been up to with the ls4 over he last 4 weeksSmile
complete makeover of the front end:
both wings had some damage so were removed, stripped, repaired, rolled and primed.
finished the bonnet, vent cut and welded in,skimmed too many times i lost count lol,wet sanded and primed.
front (extreme dimensions) bumper was repaired, sanded, indicator slots filled in and whilst i was there i filled in the strip were the ugly chrome strip used to live
prepped and primed.
all panels have been wet sanded smooth ready for paintSmile
converted the sidelights in the wings into indicators and side showing led strips fitted to the head lights to replace the original side light..
a few picks on the prep work involved (52 hours just on the bonnet)
