Been a busy day !

Crashed it friday, steering wheel fixed Saturday, body fixed today, on my backstreet !

Heres some before and afters, what you think?

It was hard work, especially since the last thing I eat was this morning at 4am, and since been fasting and got to wait till around 8ish till I can eat, proper dehydrated at the moment

How it was after Friday's accident:

Bumper came off and Headlight:

Wing came off, which was easier then I thought:

New wing went on, new bumper going on:

And the finished product, proper pleased with it:

In total cost me 100 quid, 55 for the wishbone and labour, and 15 for the wing and 30 for the bumper, all in the right color and local pickup.

My insurance was taken out as Third Party which is good as if it was Comp, then the excess would have been around 600 due to my age.

Big Big Grin on my face now, can go work tomorrow at 6am in my own car now

the Big Grin wil dissapear when i get my renewual in november lol

steviewevie Well I was thinking bodyshop repair, but I think you might be onto something - stunt driver who then fixes the car afterwards ?

im literally

we can have our own stunt driver for the club at car shows !

Yh i would love bodyshop repair, and maybe in the future, i would love to have a garage with everything init, including a ramp !, then i can learn and do everything at home, its like when the garage fitted the wishbone for the wheel, i thought i could have done that myself at home, only problem is the backstreet is on a slope, so the car starts going forward when jacked up, had some scary moments in my is200 when painting the calipers !

Saraj only problem is the backstreet is on a slope, so the car starts going forward when jacked up, had some scary moments in my is200 when painting the calipers !
You know that you're supposed to put a chock/wedge under at least one of the wheels to stop the car rolling when you jack it up ? The IS200 actually comes with one with the tool kit in the boot.

yh i only found that after painting them lol, then onwards used it, and used it alot when my handbrake broke and had to wait for Lexus to order the front part of the cable.

I might ask a private contractor how much would it be to tarmac the backstreet directly rear to my house and make it flat, but i dont think the council would be happy, or the dustbin trucks would destroy it
