The club has organised the making of some "show plates" with a number plate manufacturer. These are basically number plates (not just a sticker) that you can stick on top of (or instead of) your car's number plate, to help show off the club name etc when you are at a show/event (or you can always put them in your car's windscreen).

There are two designs available, shown below, which differ only in that one has a white border, and one does not :

You can get these plates either in standard size, or in a custom size that you specify yourself (e.g. a larger rear one for an IS200 or other car that takes larger rear plates).

The standard sized plates are £10 each, and custom sizes are £13 each. These are prices for *each* plate, not for a pair. So you might want just one, or you might want a front and a rear, it's up to you. In either case the delivery charge is £4.99, for signed-for delivery. There is no fixing kit included with these plates. You will need to stick them on with something like blu-tack, double-sided sticky tape, adhesive pads, velcro or something similar (but bearing in mind you will want to take it off again for the drive home !).

If you want to order, please phone Demon Plates on 0845 838 5167 and ask for either Craig or Leanne, asking for the "Outlaw Jap club show plates", and tell them what you want (how many plates, what size if not standard, and whether you want plain or with a white border). You can pay by credit card over the phone.

It may be possible to sort out some square plates for those with JDM-sized number plate recesses, though we haven't sorted this out yet and we'd have to adjust the design.

Typically Demon Plates have a very fast turnaround time so there is still time to get your plates for JAE if you don't hang about.

Marsdendean Can i make some and laminate them!!! £10 each is a bit much at this moment in time, but i like mine being an 05, since its one of the last to me built!

You can do what you like, it's up to you !

If you want to show off your actual number plate because it's a later car, or whatever reason, then that's fine of course. Some people like to have these show plates, but some people might not.

So if the club bought say 5 sets would we not save on P + P
meaning we could save the members about 3 quid each ??
And just pay for them at JAE which is not to far away :wink:
Instead of everyone paying £ 4.99 for P + P

Lexus IS200 Mods--TTE Supercharger, Tein Superstreet Coilovers & EDFC, 6000K HID Lights, HKS Silent High Power Exhaust, DBA Front Discs, Kenwood DNX9240 Head Unit, 19" Rims, TRD Kit, FIGS Bonnet Struts, Greddy Pillar Pod & Defi Gauges, TTE Red ARBS . And Been To WIM twice

Yeah, as Wozza says we'd have to put up a post, give a few days for people to respond etc, then send the order off. All that time we're getting even closer to JAE.

We thought it was probably better to let individual members place orders right now, that way you've definitely got time to get them delivered before JAE.

Mmm. You could always hand them out at JAE for the people who paid?

I understand on the P&P thing. But if you ordered them monday (With a post up through the weekend), surely they would come for friday?

Anyone else tried ordering yet ? Just checking that it's working ok. It should do, providing you speak to Leanne or Craig, who know all about this
