My last mot noted oil mist on one of my front dampers.

Usually I'd use this as an excuse to get a full car adjustable kit, But as I bought it as a comfortable/practical car to replace my not so comfortable or practical lowered MX5, And with my back problems I feel I don't want to go for a full adjustable kit at the minute (I know what I'm like, If I fitted a kit that would allow me to have my car dragging it's belly on the floor and needing the dampers to be set rock hard to stop it bottoming out, It would be).

So, I've been looking for a front pair of good value but reasonable quality OEM equivalent dampers for Lexi.

The ones I keep coming back to are the KYB Excel-G's. They seem to get reasonable write ups and aren't silly money........

But what do you lot think of them (Any info on first hand experience would be appreciated.)?

Maybe here wasn't the best place to be asking questions about standard spec suspension. Smile

I got one on my mr2 just before I sold it but it was ok quite soft but felt nice compared to my solid suspension I had before

So your tuckin 15's, that's cute but come back to me when you get some proper size wheels

Got them in the Datsun. No problem with them. However anything that remotely worked would have been 100 times better as the original wet legs were shot to ****!!!
