2 coil packs breaking at once. What are the chances?
Alright. Last night I fitted my bigger supercharger pulley (160mm) since then the car has ran fine. Until today I changed into 2nd at a junction. Didn't put the engine under strain or anything and it started misfiring. After using a obd reader it was cylinder 1&5. After removing the coil packs and swapping then with different cylinders I got errors on cylinders 2&4 which indicates 2 failed coil packs.
So is it due to age and mileage (12years & 135000miles) or due to the bigger pulley. But how come both would go at once??
I don't know why they go down 2 at once, just always seem to.
But 1&5 are the same firing cylinders, maybe that has something to it?
Well now I've swapped the coilpacks it's 2&4 that are missing. Do they run together? Well I've managed to find someone with some locally so I will be get some new ones tomorrow. Might get 4 off him just incase!
No but I'm thinking its maybe related, once their failed their failed so they will follow where you move them.
Ah right I see. I havnt touched anything. Might have to get the emanage on and get a map quicker than I thought!

At the minute I'm running Patrick's fuel cut defender. I have an emanage. But can't be bothered to do load of soldering!

It ran fine in general. Just randomly started misfiring! I have standard injectors aswell!
