This was what the car looked like before i had decided to rebuild a new hybrid engine and custom bodywork. Here are a few of very many pics that were taken over the course of the build which has taken around 2years to get to where it is today...

The 2 engines that i bought to create this engine.

4G92 1.6 Mivec

4G93 1.8 Turbo

I started work by stripping down the 4G93 turbo engine and painted the block before sending that off to get the slightly oversized forged pistons, rods and race bearings fitted

During the wait for the block i got busy with taking the mivec engine apart and sanding down and polishing the head and sump aswel as cleaning up and painting a few things

I also bought and fitted new oil pump, water pump, bearings, etc....

The engine was pretty much complete at this point so the next step was to start taking the old engine out, Prep the bodywork, fit the new engine and other parts, and re-wire the car Big Grin

Next thing to do was to wire tuck the engine loom by routing it another way and putting the cables in a nylon sleeving. Then the engine etc was fitted into place
