So with in my 3 years that i have been in the uk I have meet some great people. I have also noticed how different the cars are compared to where i used to live in America. After a year i noticed there are quite a few of these so called corsa's, saxo's, lupo's, polo's etc etc you get the idea. I never took a liking to them at the start and i still not a fan of them. So for my first uk car i wanted something really different you know. Something that when done properly will turn heads even if its not fast or anything. Up till now I haven't seen this car modified at all which puts a smile on my face because I know it will be a bit different.

So here is my car.

a 2002 Mazda Demio (DW5W)
to begin with this is not a very fast car of course a 1.3 64 hp engine isnt really worth heavily modifying to me. I'll still do the basic mods like intake, exhaust, and dressing up the engine bay a bit, but other then that no real "big" plans i have in mind. (especially knowing that aftermarket parts for this car is like trying to fins a needle in a hey stack i would have to import pretty much "everything" from japan)

With this car i am mainly going for stance really. I have already bought the wheels " 15" x 7 Amil 10 spoke alloys with a little bit of dish on it.

[Image: 946892_493557090717159_2041173756_n.jpg]

I have recently refurbed them as they were curbed very badly, but they look like new now Big Grin

The wheels will be the first to go on as i already have them so they will be on very very soon. Here are a few more pics of what i have done so far.

Mushroom Air Filter
[Image: 100_0005.jpg]

a little touch to the interior
[Image: 100_0082.jpg]

a few decals on the rear window
[Image: 165433_490542081018660_141242602_n.jpg]

If i planned to keep this car for a long time which I'm still considering i had an idea of dropping a Glanza v engine in. I have a few more plans for the car regardless, but I wont ruin all the surprises Wink

Brave choice of car, but perfect sleeper if you do go ahead with the engine conversion.

Got the wheels, lugs, and locking nuts on it Smile just need to slamm it now. My plan is to get some coilovers for the Mazda 2 coilovers which is the next generation to my car and if i have to modify them to fit. thats my idea atm but still searching around.

Its been about a week since i was on here. I managed to make a custom rear section exhaust out of pipe from a scrap car in college so completely free. I decided too go Bosozoku style on the exhaust a bit =, but nothing crazy lol. Will have a picture up later today.

Hopefully that is detachable?? If not will fail an MOT I would've thought.

Like the wheels, not keen on the tow hook thing though.

To be honest the only thing that doesn't do it for me is the pipe, the wheels and the tow hook are tastefully colour coded but the pipe litterally sticks out like a bare phalus in a sandstorm, but its your car and if you like it than more power to you good for you for being different, i will keep my eye on this one to see where it goes, i reckon this little people carrier has the potential to surprise us all...
