Supercharger clutch/throttle switch
Supercharger clutch/throttle switch
What info you a after exactly?
From what I know own superchargers, you can either have a clutch that turnsit oneor off,
Or you can have a bypass. Controlled by either the throttle or inlet pressure. So it closes once the throttle is open. Or inlet pressure rises.
A pipe that bypasses the charger, so when the throttles closed the air just goes back around the charger rather than pressurising the pipework.
It has a butterfly valve on it with either a spring and additional throttle cable, or an actuator like a turbo.
So either the throttle pulls the bypass shut when you push the throttle causing it to pressurise the pipework, or you have an actuator and as the charger gets faster and pressurises the pipework and inlet it closes the bypass using manifold pressure.
