Hi,
Anyone know the book time and real time taken to change a cambelt? Local dealer says it's about 6 hours. .. I dont believe.

Also if it possible to replace waterpump after the cambelt has been replaced?

sent using my fingers and voodoo magic.

To change the water pump you have to remove the cambelt so its possible but would take nearly as much time again.

Mmm im getting the belt changed at the dealer but as I have a new aftermarket pump I would lile to have it chsnhed but dealer wont fit unless genuine parts.

Wondeted if it was possible to gey pump out past the belt... but seems not, shame.

2.5 hours on the 2JZ GE engine. I think Rob has the IS200 and that is a little more time IIRC.
