P1128 Help
This all started when I re-fitted my standard cat for its yearly appointment with the mot tester.I fitted the cat,drove 1/2 a mile, went to put my foot down and it threw up the code. Now I know that swapping an exhaust over shouldn't cause this but it running sweet before and like this now.
At the moment my setup is tte charger,150 mm pulley,standard tte intake and an Emanage with 314cc injectors at around 240bhp. It seems as soon as I ask for more power it goes into limp home mode, I've checked the vacuum hoses, wiring and can't see any problem.

17-05-2020, 08:51 AM #1I need some help with this code P1128, every time I go to put my toe down,the eml comes on and I have no throttle control, as the throttle motor has locked.I am now on my 3rd throttle assembly so I am pretty sure it's not the throttle motor.

17-05-2020, 10:39 AM #4It says P1128 unknown fault, which from what is300 users say is the throttle actuator control, I've checked the charger cable that's all good.

18-05-2020, 12:07 AM #6Still a bit of movement with the bypass,haven't touched anything to do with that,when I first set it up I had a p1125 which was for a over tight bypass cable but nothing since. I've checked the risistance of the motor itself and that seems about right.its driving me mad,every time you accelarate you don't know if it will cut in or not?
