Memory Walk in aid of Alzheimer's Society 01/09/13
I've not just randomly posted this. I've had a quick chat with Andrew who has kindly let me post this
Around 4-5 years ago my father was diagnosed with vascular dementia with traits of Alzheimer's.
Anybody that's had a close relative or friend suffer this will know the debilitating impact it has not only on the sufferer but also family and friends.
It is truly heartbreaking to watch anybody suffer this horrible disease.
With a little bit of help from people we are aiming to do a 6 mile walk through the estates of Harewood House near Leeds. (In case anybody wonders I'm originally from Leeds ).
Funds raised will be going towards providing vital support to people living with dementia and help our research to find a cure for the future.
I would be very grateful to anybody that could sponsor me in doing. Even if its only £1 it's something. And with gift aid that's an extra 25% on top of any amount donated
