When installing a BOV with the SC, is it necessary to remove the bypass?
Does it make any pschhht sound if the bypass is still fitted?

You must have the bypass valve installed. The blow off valve will still pssssss when you installed it.
If you run standard pressure on your charger setup it will only be loud above 4500 rpms. On lower rpms you wont hear it so loud.

I have seen on different forums that some guys have removed the bypass when installing the BOV. Why do I have to have the bypass valve installed ? The BOV is not strong enough to release boost pressure ?

The blowoff valve will only open for a short period. But when on idle it is closed but you still need a bypass valve to release all the pressure the supercharger makes.
I dont know exactly how the blow off works but i know that it only opens when you release the throttle quickly. It has somehing to do with pressure diffrence not just vacuum
