Hello guys hope you're doing well, not done much to my motor other than polishing and putting fuel in it !
An item caught my fancy the other day and wanted a bit more info, the late is200/300 2004/05 had a lid in the coin tray above the centre face vents, this is a photo of one ( ignore the guys sat/nav unit ) is this panel a fair price from Lexus or are they worth getting second hand ie with they get screwdrivered out getting from an on line breaker, hope you cn advise,
Bob.

There's springs and hinges and stuff. You'd need the whole panel including the heater vents.

It comes as separate bits from Lexus. The door/cover is £70, the bezel it sits in that surrounds the heater vents is £80, the springs & hinges are £25 each side then there's bolts, pins etc to fix it together which are in total about a tenner.

Well the vent panel turned up today and it had been screwdrivered out by some gorilla at the breakers, so it's going to need a bit or work....lucky it was cheap !
The blank sat nav buttons have been damaged looking for the screws to undo it, so think i will blank them over, just hope satin black spray is a good match with the rest of the dash.

I just used standard Halfords satin black spray paint when I modified a double DIN stereo fascia and it was near enough a perfect match. You'd have to be really studying it to tell the difference.

Funny enough I bought a can of halfords satin today it had good reviews on its website.
Have been busy in the shed filling and rubbing down the vent panel.
