Hey guys do you all have any experience in replacing the 2 front rotor bearings on the chargers ?

Mines are gone and need some advice on repairing it.
I have the correct bearings just need to acquire the seals.

Its a complicated job. You can get kits however.

You need access to measuring kit and aluminium tig welding gear a high pressure press 5-10000kg works, and do you know how to set the timing? You could index mark everything though.

The bearings set the end float of the rotors, once it goes the rotors can move backwards and they chew the casing scrapping the charger unit. It happened to me.

There was a danish lad here who took my old charger kit, I read he replaced the 2 front bearings at some stage.

AFAIK the seals are a unique non standard size.

Hey Rob. That's the exact thing with my charger. After removing the puller and cover. Upon inspection one of the gears had a forward and back movement play. The bearings are gone. Also the charger had no oil. Sad I assume because I'm using a bigger pulley on the charger for more boost the heat produced cause the oil to dry up thus destroying the front bearings. The front plate is also damage. Do you have any pics which can assist me in my rebuild ?

Anyone willing to do a repair on the front bearings. They sell the seals for the front bearings.
