So Some may know of my previous car the 02 mazda demio 1.3L.

[Image: c621263a-c44f-4835-9c2a-05e36d81bdea.jpg]

The big ends where knock and it was knocking alot. I decided that for what the car is worth it really is not worth sorting it and this seemed like a good time to upgrade. I found this mx5 on ebay located in doncaster. Originally the owner wanted 1500 for it, but I managed to get the price down to 950. He kept the bucket seats, his enkei wheels, and coilovers. When i arrived to veiw the car i was amazed there was not one bit of rust at all like seriously none this was due to it having a full restoration in 2009 and 5 years later she still is a beaut.
Here are some pictures.

It defo needs a GV front lip, it will instantly improve high speed stability as generally above 65mph the little MX gets a bit nervous and skittish

Thanks for advice Phil I'll definitely be doing that at some point. Your right as well I never had such a fun time driving until I got this car. I think i have a problem with the antenna tho it won't go down. I thought if radio is turned off it'll just go down but cant figure it out.

The MX/Eunos drivers do seem to wave/flash or wing at each other, but I find its only the MK1 pop up light owners, the MK2 and MK3 drivers just ignore you, and they are mostly driven by middle age women who aint got a clue other than to look fashionable in the topless car, they are the ones who really do not appreciate this fun car.

So i think my first step with the mx5 is front splitter and side steps to match, Although i want coilovers it would be smarter getting this first that way I can figure out how to set-up my suspension properly.

So i got my car on a lift in college to prepare for MOT and found a new hole underneath on drivers side it wasn't there before, but either way it was rusted and I'm glad it decided to show now then getting worse over time. It is from my speed bumps at work there are 2 and the first one is the worst and, It is on 40mm lowering springs not even on coilovers, but regardless any kinda of modding will definitely take a back seat now. I am fully determined to make sure this car is in good shape so it can deserve any after market bits. While i was in college my Tutor decided to give me his splitter off his Polo so i guess i have something to do after I sort out welding and front ball joints (and anything else that appears.)
