rusty tailpipe

Mine stainless steel exhaust tail pipe is badly covered in
rust. What is the best way of bringing it back to its former glory?

I have already tried metal polish but it has not touched it...
Is anyone tryed Autosol Aluminium Polish? I read on one of cars forums that its make it nice and shine but price of £4 on ebay dont realy make me belive so any ideas?

Any advice would be great...

its not that bad so I'd just scotchbrite it, or the rough side of a sponge if you'r feeling tight Wink

that will get it back to bare metal and you can then autosol over that, it will come out much nicer.

before i used some metal polish..just need some shine to it....will have a go wif some autosol :]
