okay don't know peoples inputs or thoughts on this am having a think about sticking a set of banded steels onto my is200 but cant seem to find any pictures of any previously done before so don't know if its a good thing or not any help would be much appreciated

Most people would put that style of rim on something from the euro scene which is why it prob hasnt been done

Most people would put that style of rim on something from the euro scene which is why it prob hasnt been done

I looked into banded steelies for the skyline. I gave up when u couldn't find any steels with a 5x114.3 PCD.

IMHO they wouldn't suit a 200 but give it a go. I may be wrong!

i have seen a few with the right PCD but mainly in 16s not 17s

Yeah I've just looked again now 16s and 15s are all I can find! You could run 16s and drop your car to the floor!

Pretty sure the Is200 s has 16" wheels

They're basically deep dish steel wheels, usually on little polos which have been slammed way too low. Look terrible IMO and definitely wouldn't suit an is200. Why don't you just get some deep dish alloys? Also, you can actually band alloy wheels

Banded steelies can look good on jap cars too!
