Hi all, just bought my first impreza its a 1995 uk turbo 2000 it has a few issues i can deal with its an old car its gunna have a few, anyway my biggest problem is as i hit boost mainly lower gears when boost is strong the car vibrated quiet badly. Me and 3 others hav sat in the car and all swear its coming frim the back but still unsure, has anyone had or heard of this problem? Any help would be apriciated

Welcome mate. I'd check the rear diff to be honest. Or the transfer box. See how much backlash there is in the prop.

Welcome mate. I'd check the rear diff to be honest. Or the transfer box. See how much backlash there is in the prop.

Thanks peeps. Ive got underneith and wiggled evrything about and theres quiet allot of play at the front end of the prop shaft to the point u can here it nocking, im hoping thats the problem?

It doesent nock while driving just when i wiggle it, it just vibrates the whole car under boost, would i beable to replace anything or would it be a new prop shaft? Cheers for the help
