Rabster considering my V8 was flat this evening this could have saved playing musical fleet to charge them in order lol
I would say that the SP400 is design to jump start petrol up to 3 Litre.
The peak output is 400 amp so it can jump start bigger engine, but it wasn't design for it.
But something small in the glove box that can save your bottom is never going to hurt.
At least I make it a habit of keeping one in the SC430 as I know the SP400 can jump start that from dead cold… tried and tested.
