My Micra
My Micra
Thought id start one of these for my micra, Ive got no pics from when I got it so i'll just start here.
This is after I fitted some lowering springs belive it or not that's a 40/35 mm front / rear drop so you can imagine the thing was like a 4x4 when I it [IMG][/IMG]
Put a stainless exhaust on it:

That's it for now gonna look into a remap shortly to see it I can get the little supercharger working a little harder.
oh and ive got these wheels to go on in summer:

Supercharger would be awesome
It already has one, you don't see many of them don't think they have been as popular with the OAP market as the n/a version haha! Its quite a nippy little thing only 97 bhp but it don't weigh much so its quite fun tbh. Aparantly it can be mapped to about 120ish hp safely. So i think it may be getting done when I've got a bit of cash.
Those wheels were a bargain off eBay only gave £200 for the set all new in box, can't go wrong at that! Yeah I've got a few other bits in mind for it the main one is sorting out Nissans weird supercharger. Its got a clutch on the pully (like an A/C compressor) so the ecu controls weather or not the charger runs.Which is OK most of the time but sometimes you don't get boost when you think you should and it really needs it all the time it don't f#cking move without it. So i need to know if I can have that sorted with a map just to wright out the whole charger on/off system and have it engaged all the time or if I'm gonna need to change the pully for a standard one as well? Then the next on my list is to find some seats out of something else to go in it as I keep falling out of the standard ones! they are just like garden chairs.
Great car...
Looking forward to seeing it on the new wheels
And more boost.... Lots more boost!!!
Can anyone recommend a remapping firm? Never had a car mapped before. I've spoke to a firm called Celtic tuning who seem quite good and say they have done these Micra's before they are mobile and would come to me. Or am I better off spending a little more and having one done at my local rolling road place? Celtic do say they use their own maps so its not just like a bloke in a van with a computer.
Is this remapping the standard ecu? I'd find someone who you've got a personal recommendation from. Lot of bad 'mappers' out there.
