Colchester : New member, new build
I'm Dan and I own a Lotus Elise. That's not very Japanese I hear you say... well it's about to have modified/rebuilt k20a popped in the back of it with the aim of making around 300bhp in N/A form. So I thought I'd register here as a source of knowledge and to share the build if there's any interest in that kind of thing.
Past cars have included a '91 200SX back in 1996, a '90 3000GT in 1998 and a Celica in 1999. After that I'm afraid I departed from the Jap scene and went along the German, Italian and English sports car route.
I've had the lotus for 9 years in mildly modified form and now it's time to triple the power I feel. It's a great car but is lacking more than a few horses. During the last 9 years I've had some 500bhp + Italian exotics and never once considered moving the lotus on, but they have spoilt me so far the power is concerned!
I hope this build will be of interest and that as a mixed breed I'll be welcome in your community.
