The Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 has proven to be a race winning machine in major championships including Super GT, Blancpain GT and Pirelli World Challenge. But the car's impressive list of strong performances has continued to grow in other major series around the world, too.In the Japan, the ThreeBond Nissan Technical College GT-R team scored championship success in the Super Taikyu Series ST-X class with a round to go by taking its fourth victory from five rounds recently at Okayama.The trio of Uchida Yudai, Tomonobu Fujii and Tairaho Kazuki now has an unbeatable points tally with an additional round remaining in November at Autopolis.In Germany in the VLN Series, Zakspeed scored its best result of the season with fifth place at the final round with Sebastian Asch joining former GT Academy winners Florian Strauss and Marc Gassner aboard the No.24 machine.The GT-R squad battled variable weather conditions and more than 140 other entries to score the result.Other GT-Rs racing around the world this season include Spirit Z Racing's Chinese GT Championship entry with driver Sun Zheng. The team recently scored fourth place at Shanghai in the series finale.Female racer Francesco Linossi has contested the Italian GT Championship with Drive Technology Italia SrL this season.
