Total sales of more than 19,200 were up 5 percent versus October last year. October sales in Canada were an all-time record of more than 1,300 vehicles, a 6 percent increase from last year. From January to October, INFINITI set a new global record for sales in the first 10 months, with almost 184,000 vehicles sold, an increase of 6 percent compared to the same time last year."At INFINITI, as part of our 'Empower the Drive' brand promise, we design and engineer our vehicles around our customers," said Roland Krueger, president of INFINITI Motor Company. Sales of the new Q60 sports coupe are particularly strong in the U.S. where it was recently launched. With its stunning exterior and interior design and nimble capability, the compact QX30 continues to be popular around the world. Customers in China are anticipating the start of QX30 sales this month. This is a time for growth at INFINITI and we expect to close the year in a great position."In China, INFINITI set a new October sales record with more than 3,800 vehicles sold, a 2 percent increase from October 2015. Year to date, INFINITI sold almost 33,000 vehicles in China, an increase of 2 percent over the same period last year. The QX30 compact crossover will go on sale at the Guangzhou Motor Show in mid-November, and will be featured in an Air+Style Snowboard event November 19, at the iconic Bird's Nest Stadium in Beijing.From January to October, INFINITI sold more than 14,200 vehicles in Western Europe, up 147 percent from the same period last year. This is largely driven by excellent reception of INFINITI's all-new Q30 and QX30 compact entries by the company's customers.In the United States, INFINITI had its best October sales month ever, selling 11,208 vehicles, a 1 percent increase from October 2015, and almost 108,000 vehicles from January – October, a 1 percent increase.In Asia and Oceania, 560 vehicles were sold by INFINITI in October, an increase of 66 percent over the same month last year.
