Do they keep there mileage? I thought i read that it was stored in the ecu.

Engine i replaced is out of an auto lexus. So I'm keeping the manual ecu in the car.

Yep it's kept in the ecu. There is companies out there who will reprogram the mileage with proof of the new engine.
