Personally I agree with it and I may be biased as I have a car I've put a lot of work into and a lot of individual small touches, but what do other members think?

Wayne All I can say is, I'm glad I'm not 18-19 years old nowadays...
It doesnt really matter what age you are now though, there are always going to be people of all ages ruining it for everyone else.
We all know the guys who like to drive in circles around JAE all sitting on the back of eachothers cars

Nah, what I meant was when I was that age, we'd have a £250 shitbox and spend all winter trying to eek a few more horses out of it using what was left of our meager wages after chasing girls and getting drunk.

I've been to far too many car meets that have been shut down because some k**b with a strait through exhaust and a need to make ears bleed with subs wants to show off. Don't get me wrong I love a loud car and loud music but some people have no respect at what's supposed to be a chill meet.
Some encourage that sort of behaviour, and in a controlled manner it's fine. But some as you say are static and relaxed meets and dont
