urm only ever had 2 cars and 1 of them is the Lex so going to have to say my VW polo 1.4 CL although tbh it was pretty reliable.

Same here- only ever owned 2 cars- my IS200 and a 1985 Ford Escort. Based on my short car history, I'd say the Escort was the worst car I've owned.
The Escort wasn't reliable in the winter- wouldn't start on cold mornings.
Edit: I shouldn't really complain about the Escort as it was given to me as a freebie.
had loads of cars but the worst was a Nissan Bluebird Diesel, no turbo and cost me £30 bought unseen, it had 3 months mot and tax, I needed a car quick, kept it for 6 months before it died completely.

The worst car I ever owned was a Peugeot 206 1.9 diesel which I had as a driving school car. I really didn't know there was that much that could go wrong with a car. I always had the feeling that Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder were in charge of putting the electrics in this car. It had a lovely habbit of winding it's wondows down of it's own accord and even when offerd money and other favours, it refused to wind them back up again. It had two diesel injector pumps, three sets of glow plugs and I was quoted over £700 for a cambelt change. I've stuck with jap stuff ever since.
