How to post photos on the forum
We all love seeing pictures on the forum. It's very easy to post up your own pictures here, and I've made a step-by-step guide to show you how it's done.
Basically there are two main steps. First of all, you need to upload your pictures to a photo hosting website on the Internet. There are loads of free photo hosting websites out there, personally I use Photobucket and so I will use Photobucket examples to illustrate this guide.
1. Hosting your Photos
If you haven't already got an account, go to Photobucket (or another such site) and sign up there.
When you're logged in to Photobucket, click on the "my albums" link at the top and select "albums & upload". You'll see a box towards the top entitled "Upload Images & Video", as per below :
Click on the "Choose files" button and follow the prompts to upload photos. You can select several photos at one time and upload them together, you don't have to do it one at a time. Once the pics are uploaded, it will then prompt you to add "tags" to them, but you don't have to bother, you can simply select "Return to Album".
2. Posting your Photos on OJC
Now you've got your photos hosted on the web, you can post them up on OJC. You just post up special links to them on the forum, then the photos will automatically appear in your posting.
Many photo hosting websites, including Photobucket, will automatically generate the code to link to your photos for you. This might sound complicated but it's not. Just put your mouse over the photo in Photobucket, and a small box will pop up below the photo, like this (I'm pointing at the top-left photo) :
In that box that pops up, look for the section that says "IMG code". To the right of this is the link/code that you need for the forum, which starts "[IMG]http:". Click in this box and it will highlight the code, then you can right-click (if on a PC) and select "Copy", see below :
Now go to your posting, right-click in your new posting/reply where you want your photo to be, and select "Paste". That should make that "IMG" code appear in your posting. Click on "Preview Post" to check that it looks as you expect, and you should be done !
As an alternative, e.g. for photos you want to link to off other websites, and not ones that you have uploaded yourself, you can click on the little "postcard" picture above the box where you're typing your posting, and that will prompt you to enter the address of the photo (which you can either Paste in or type manually), and it should generate the code in the same way.
Happy photo posting !

Hi Guys, anyone use Flickr for storing there photos and putting in their posts on here?
I've been using Flickr for ages but wanted to post some pictures last night and found that Flickr seems to of changed.
What you used to do was go to view all image sizes and then the code needed was displayed in a box below the picture. The process for getting to view all image sizes has changed and when you do view the image the boxes with the code in isn't there anymore
Anyone else found this?
Yes I've tried that but it just dosn't seem to work. As I say Flickr used to give you the code to paste in.
I've now created an account on photobucket and using that in stead.
I think Flickr have done something to try and make people pay for the pro version.
