Just thought I'd say hello, newbie here.

Drive a Lexus IS200 at the min, but considering something a tad quicker soon!

Hope everyone is all well!

Saw a you in Banzai, and then seen a few peeps off the Lexus board I recognise.

Need some help working out what to get next. Love the IS200, but simply isn't quick enough, have looked into engine conversions and turbo/supercharger options. But can't justify the cash when if I sold up or traded in I could get an Evo or something.
My car needs to be able to cover miles, (do about 20k a year) and be cheap to service, and have room for 2-3 kids in back! Aswell as looking sweet and going like stink! (o and fit into a very tight budget!)

Thanks for the warm welcome, have included a couple of pics.

You'll see quite a few of us off the lexus forums mate, Wink

Not sure what to suggest car wise? the evo's are a nice motor but not cheap to keep at there best? (3000-4500 miles a service depending on model) suffer melted pistons/rings, eat diffs, plus a few other faults that are pretty common? But can be a great machine if you can find a good one?

I've got the Skyline R33 GTS-T 2.5 turbo, been great since i brought it, takes kids in the back seat very well and does go pretty well :w00t: parts can be quite cheap for them too if you shop around? Standard the fuelling not too bad but when you start to play with them it does go down quite a bit!

Or another option might be a Subaru legacy B4, cracking motor and they shift, plenty of room in the back and pretty reliable if been looked after :thumbup1:

Nice to see some pics James

If you want to put them inline with your posting, as larger pics, you can do that by uploading them to a photo hosting website. There are full instructions on how to do that in this thread Smile
