Taking up Rugby
Taking up Rugby
Evening all.
I was just after some outside opinions. The house move is coming along nicely and for the begining of next year I'm going to up to the eyeballs decorating etc but I was thinking of taking up rugby for the next coming season.
Would taking up rugby at the grand old age of 32 be a good thing to do? I played at school and fancied taking it up at the locall rugby club where I'm moving too.
Just looking for opinion's that's all.
Be good,
Jim.
P.S. When's X factor over? Life is depressing enough.
Firstly its over tomorrow, well the show is anyway.
secondly, why not take it up! if you feel fit enough then go for it
If you do decide to play rugby i would cover yourself with insurance as your self employed arent you?
I tried to make a come back in football a good few years back 1995 and got injured in my first game and was out for the season, What was worse is i worked hard on my fitness pre season dropping a couple of stone on the way.
I could not make the end of a hop scotch track now

Taking out insurance sounds like very good advice. I have emailed two clubs not too far from where I'm moving too so will ask the question when I see the coaches. Let's hope you don't have to pay a higher premium for being over six foot.
Thanks again lads.
Jim.
