Looks like the deal's moving along then, must be fitness that's causing a hold up but I'm really excited by the thought of this - hope it happens!

Only the sad fact that the English team is powered by a German engine, shame Cosworth had those years out maybe they would have been up to the task - give them a couple of seaons and they will be back on top.
Remember that the German engine is what used to be Ilmor, so is really a British engine with a German badge on it !
Right - splitting hairs but I can go with thatneaky2:
Looks like it's going to be announced this afternoon.
Fantastic, I'm so excited about this - it's really weird as I hated Schumacher when he was racing, but I can't wait to see him race the current crop (mainly Lewis)
But on some weird level, I'd really like to see Schu win the championship under these circumstances. While at Ferrari and stuff he was the clear no1, and everything was built around him. But just coming into Merc potentially just for a year after not racing and at this age, if he puts on a good show then in my book he really is the best.
I'm excited to see how it goes too. Personally I never thought this would happen (until the rumours indicated that it was practically a done deal), I thought he had too much to lose, i.e. his reputation. But I guess being reunited with Ross Brawn was a big draw, and I think it's admirable that he's so much of a racer he probably doesn't care about his reputation as such, and just wants to race !
I'll be hoping that Lewis and Jenson beat him though
