Disconected would be a better way to store your battery, or buy a trickle charger and that would keep your battery fully charge.

I just leave mine connected when I'm not using the car, then if its flat when I get home I do as Ian has suggested with a trickle charger

I would not leave it on charge for that long, you never know what could happen when you are not there, charger goes on fire burns down garage, no more Lex :thumbdown:

Lexusboy I guess i lucky mine garage is detached so as long as the house does not burn down i take the chance.:laugh:
So is mine mate, but cant see the point of having it on charge for two or more weeks at a time :Shooting:

If you can find one with a bigger output wattage it'll be better?
Most of them have a cut out/ overcharge function so it turns off when the battery is full? and pretty cheap to buy :thumbup1:
