not much difference i know lol
i am toyed to the is200 but then i see nice gs300 so keep changing my mind

Hello matey, :thumbup1:

If your going to be doing a bit of drifting i'd say go for an Altezza rs200 version if you can find one? as the extra bit of power will come in handy? the is200 is around 153bhp and the rs200 is around the 200-210bhp but basically the same car? the rs200 has a 4 cylinder engine where the is200 has a 6 and is a little flat on the power front, unless you give it a turbo or supercharger, but then your talking a few £'s Big Grin

The GS300 is a great cruising motor, but would think its a bit on the large side to get drifting, Plus there automatic's

Good to have you on board mate, and i'm sure a few of the guys will be able to help more

i did look at the altezza and have found a few within my price range.
however they are all auto's so i can either learn to drift auto or change to manual
but i think whichever way i look its gonna cost me.

but i am trying to do this and keep it as stock as possible inside so i can still get ppl in and car seats etc and still keep my mrs quiet whilst i still get to play about lol

A few of the altezza's have the beams 2000 6cylinder engine fitted which is the same as the is200, a lot of sellers i've noticed recently are advertising them as the 210bhp model and there not? they have around 153-155bhp! there also known as the AS200,

You do see the manual 4 cylinder ones now and again going for a good price, I've been looking at them for a few weeks now as I'm selling my skyline, but have only seen 2 manual Altezza's and there pretty high priced

are they the few manuals that i have also seen???
so is the Beams 4 or 6 cylinder???
i thought they were the 4 cylinder celica/mr2 engine???

i would love a skyline but practicality wise makes it very awkward for me atm Sad
