Help with installing headrest monitors...
Hello guys, i wanna ask a question about installing a pair of headrests. The headrests in questions are these ones:

They have two RCA cables, from each monitor.
The dvd player i have is this one:

it has one RCA input and one output.
Im having trouble connecting it upto to my dvd player, i know il have to buy a splitter to allow both monitors to be conected to my dvd player, but atm i can't even get one of them to show whats playing on my dvd player.
Please help!
p.s i have a lexus is200. And would like to know what the best points around the handbrake for grounding them and a 12V supply

when i did mine i took a feed from the stereo to power the monitors and you need to connect the out from the dvd to the in on the monitor but use the main one not the extra one.
Thanks mate. This should work...

use this lead to connect it to your dvd player and check the book on the dvd player to make sure there is no extra settings you need to set for extra screens, also use a dvd not a mpeg etc
you can do what i did and check it works by putting another source in there... i used my ps2 and a car battery just to check it out
ive got it working now i figured i might have been messing around with the dvd player when i first got it and might have changed some settings. So i disconnected the battery so the headunit went to default and changed one thing at a time and it worked! thanks very much to the guys that tried to help me
oh almost forgot, where would the best places to get 12V from, as well as a ground?
12v for the monitors mate? you can go off the lighter socket if you wanted to as its a switched live, so when you turn you ignition off it cuts the power to them, but make sure there fused out! for the earth you can use a nut in the same area, usually 10mm round the gear stick surround under the gear stick gaiter :thumbup1:
